Merry Christmas!

Well, another Christmas has come and gone. We had a great Christmas, with no sick kids this year. Last year we were all sick and it was a bummer. I am glad to report that Santa did not get any wild hairs this crazy, random gifts. Mrs. Clause is quite proud of him! The highlight of Hailee's Christmas was her American Doll which she has been wanting the past 3 Christmas's. Santa finally came through for her! Carson said his favorite gift is his Star Wars Millenium Falcon. Austin likes his skateboard the best, and Bella is cooking us all of our meals in her new kitchen set. We were also excited to have Grandma and Grandpa Eynon and Uncle Adam here for Christmas. They were troopers when the kids woke us all up at 4:30 in the morning! We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Flashback Friday...again

I was going through some pictures and found these and just had to laugh. We were at the beach one summer with my whole family and I was in a tent feeding a two week old Carson. All of a sudden, I heard everyone laughing their heads off! I peeked out of the tent, and this is what I saw... Hailee had just decided she didn't need her shorts anymore, and kicked them off. I hadn't put her bathing suit on her yet.
Then she tried to make a run for it so nobody would catch her!

By the time Aunt Lindsay caught her, she had all her clothes off! Good thing she was only 2 so she couldn't get arrested for public lewdness!!

Hay ride down the strip

Every Christmas season, Anderson Dairy puts on a hay ride down the strip for family and friends. Our friends John and Becky Hymus invited us to go this year on the ride. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when we got there and saw the truck, I was so excited! It was this huge long truck bed decorated with Christmas lights and big speakers on the back of it for music. They all ate pizza at Anderson Dairy before the ride, but we were running late, so we ate on the ride. We had so much fun! The truck was blaring music, and there was a microphone, so the kids and whoever else wanted to, could say things to the people we passed on the strip. It was such a good time! Bella danced to the music most the time and the kids kept warm bundled up in blankets. After the ride, we had hot chocolate and doughnuts. Thank you so much John and Becky!!

Flashback Friday

Every little girl wants a little sister to dress up. Since Hailee didn't have a sister at the time, her brothers would have to do. The funny thing is, I think they actually had fun...should I be worried? I'm pretty sure every boy that has a big sister had to go through this torture. I know my three brothers did! I do know that if Hailee tried this on them today, they would not cooperate. Although, Austin does think it's funny to paint his toenails every now and then.....
Here are some blackmail worthy pictures

Thank goodness Bella came along, and now Carson and Austin are off the hook!

Turkey Day

For Thanksgiving we went to Panaca to Kyle's parents house. The kids had a good time playing with their cousins. It's wild when we get all the boys together! They play hard during the day, and crash at night. My kids loved playing in the leaves on the front lawn. Here are some pics of our weekend.

Flashback Friday

I received the Sears Christmas Wish book in the mail today, and it got me wondering what Santa will bring my kids this year for Christmas! I was thinking back to past Christmas's and had to laugh about one in particular where I think Santa was feeling a bit crazy. He dropped this off to an 18 month old Carson.....

I did hear that Mrs. Claus was a bit shocked by the gift, and wondered if Santa was going through a midlife crisis!
Mom even got on it to take it for a spin, and crashed and ate it pretty bad! Carson and Hailee were both bawling because they saw me get hurt! So I haven't been on the bike since and I think I crushed Kyle's dreams of having a motorcyle mama! But I do have to say it has been fun for Carson. We put training wheels on it, and off he goes! Hopefully Santa doesn't do anything crazy this year!

I was tagged a while ago, I don't even remember by who. But you finish the sentence with the first thing that comes to mind.

I am: busy
I think: too much
I want: to be out of debt
I have: awesome kids
I dislike: ignorant people
I miss: four seasons
I fear: dying and leaving my kids without their mommy
I feel: blessed
I hear: Bella breathing in the baby monitor
I smell: Scentsy candle
I crave: anything sweet
I cry: hardly ever
I usually: am happy
I regret: being such a stinker in highschool to my mom and dad
I search: the internet
I wonder: what my kids will turn out like when they're older
I love: My family
I care: about people's feelings
I always: am cleaning
I worry: about the future
I am not: as good of cook as I want to be
I remember: everything
I believe: there are still good people in this world
I dance: only in front of my kids
I sing: never
I argue: with Austin
I write: a grocery list
I win: nothing
I lose: to Kyle most of the time
I wish: I wasn't raising kids in such a scary world.
I listen: to friends' problems
I don't understand: why some people think they are better than others
I watch: Dr. Phil
I need: reassurance
I forget: that Hailee is only 8...sometimes I expect too much of her
I am happy: when Kyle is happy. You know that saying "when mama aint happy, nobody's happy?" Well in our house it's when daddy aint happy, nobody's happy!

Happy 30th Lindsay

My little sis Lindsay just turned 30 yesterday, and since I'm such a loser, I didn't send her a card. So I decided a post for her would be just as good.
30 reasons I adore my little sister

1. When we were little, we used to get all dressed up and put makeup on and take pictures of each other like we were super models. Cindy Crawford had nothing on us!

2. Lindsay could get away with wearing anything funky and still look cute.

4. She is such a good mommy.

5. She married the most hilarious guy ever

6. She thinks I'm funny

7. Who else would worship New Kids On The Block with me?

8. She has gone sky diving...something I would never do! She has no fear

11. She had just as many dumb boyfriends as I did (sorry Linds but it's true!!)

14. She was my favorite college roomate

15. She always had the best shoes in highschool

17. She was always naked when she was little. She hated clothes! You met her too late, Mike!

18. She plays Fantasy Football

19. She couldn't say her r's when she was little and I would always make her say the word run for entertainment

20. When we were super little, I stole a pack of gum from the store and she told on me. Thanks for keeping me honest Linds

Halloween 08

Another Halloween has come and gone...thank goodness! I wasn't really enthusiastic this year about it because all week long I was so sick. I ended up having strep throat and a double ear infection and was so achey, that I felt like I'd been hit by a bus. Then later in the week, developed a nasty head cold. Hmmm...maybe I should start eating healthier or something. Anyways, I didn't even carve pumpkins or anything with the kids. Luckily my parents were here visiting, and Grandpa Eynon was a trooper and carved pumpkins Halloween day with them. Hailee was a candy corn fairy, Carson was Aniken Skywalker, Austin was Jango Fett, and Bella was a 50's girl. We went to our ward trunk or treat, then came home and went around the neighborhood. Hopefully next year, I'll be a little more in the spirit of things! Sorry kiddos! The kids lost interest after a while, and poor Grandpa finished all the carving alone!

Flashback Friday

I saw this on my friends blog. Every Friday she does a post about things from the past and calls it "flashback Friday" I thought that was a fun idea since I've never been a good journal writer, and I don't have time to scrapbook. So this is a way for me to blog memories that I don't want to forget. These are my two very most favorite pictures of my boys. The first one was typical of them right after we built our house. They were constantly outside working in the dirt. This is how I caught them one day. I thought it was cute. The second picture is of them playing soccer and wrestling at the park, and I just happened to get a good shot of the two of them.

The next David Beckam???

The next David Beckam? Ok, I won't go that far!! But I was so proud of Carson today! He played in his second soccer game and did so well! He was a lot more aggressive than he was in his last game, and he even made a goal! He's such a little guy, but he sure can run! I was laughing though, because he's so polite, and when he'd come close to a girl, he'd kind of let up so he didn't hurt her. What a gentleman!! Of course, Austin was on the sidelines yelling at Carson to knock everyone down!! Can't wait for Austin to play next year. Should be interesting!
Here are some pictures of the game.

Naughty Girl!!!

Today after school, I was helping Hailee with her homework so that she wouldn't have to do it after gym tonight. I sent Bella upstairs to play with the boys and their friends to keep her out of our way. So 20 minutes had passed, and one of Carson's friends came downstairs yelling "Bella's flooding your bathroom"! AAAHHHHH!!! I run upstairs, and Bella had climbed into my bathtub, turned on the water, and was using a cup to dump out water onto the bathroom floor. To make it worse, the boys were all running, and sliding on their tummy's in all the water. Lovely! Bella was yelling "yay" and clapping her hands while the boys were doing this. Seriously, there was water everywhere! I was so mad. So we cleaned it up, I sent all the boys outside, and set Bella on the couch and told her to stay there till daddy got home. (Like she understood any of that, but it made me feel better!" So here are some pictures of her on the couch waiting for daddy to come home. Doesn't she look so remorseful? Ya, she was laughing at me, while I was getting mad at her. Naughty little girl!!!

Doesn't she look like a girl that just got in trouble?

Little stinker!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

On Saturday night, Kyle took the boys to a race in Vegas, so that left us girls home alone! Hailee and I contemplated over all the things that we could do without the boys! We could go to a movie, bowling, go out to eat, go shopping, etc. But since we still had Bella, we probably needed to get a babysitter for her if we were going to enjoy ourselves. Bella is a little pill right now (if you've sat behind us at church you know what I'm talking about) It was a little too late to find a babysitter, so we decided to stay home. But that didn't stop us from having a fun girls night out! Hailee invited her best friend Bailey over and we made pizzas, ate junk food, played games, and watched a movie. Hailee and Bailey have been friends since before they could walk! She is such a good girl and a great example to Hailee. She has this way of calming Hailee down when she get's dramatic about things! They are like sisters. I remember when they were about 3 yrs. old, Bailey broke her arm. Hailee was there when it happened. Later that night, Hailee heard me telling Kyle that Bailey broke her arm and she was getting a cast. Hailee disappeared into her room for a while and came out sobbing. She said "Did Bailey die?" When I said cast, she thought I meant casket! Poor girl. It was so sad. So to convince her that Bailey was ok, Kyle had to take Hailee to her house so she could see her. I just love these girls! Here are some pictures of the two of them growing up.
Poor Carson! They used to treat him like he was their baby doll

At our house in Vegas right before we all moved to Logandale

They showed up in the same outfit on the first day of school for 2nd grade! It was hilarious!

Bella's first day of school....oh wait, she's only 1!

Today, I walked Carson and his cute little friend Sawyer to the bus stop. I told Carson to grab his backpack, and get his shoes on. So what do you think Bella does? She goes and puts a pair of Hailee's flip flops on, and grabs a princess backpack that she insists on wearing throughout the day. She walked with us to the bus stop with the back pack on the whole way. It was so funny, so I hurried and grabbed the camera. This little lady thinks she is 5! She was fine walking back home, until she heard the bus leave. Then she realized she wasn't getting on it and had a complete melt down! Poor girl...Do you think they will make an exception for a one year old?

So excited for school! (so she thinks)

Off she goes!

She hasn't realized the bus is going to leave her yet!

Think she get's the picture now? Poor thing
