So as I've said before, it took Kyle at least a year to talk me into moving to Logandale. I wasn't sure how I felt about living in such a small town, but finally, I was on board and we moved. Although not having any conveniences is a pain in the butt sometimes (ok all the time), there are so many things about this place that I love. One of our favorite things about Logandale is being "Pirates." That's the highschool mascott and let me tell you, the whole town revolves around the Pirates. Every Friday is blue and gold day (the pirate colors) at the elementary school, and you'll see practically the whole town at the football games. The kids love to go to the games and play with all their friends on the grass, and cheer the Pirates on. The funniest thing to me is that during the State football game that's held in Las Vegas, Logandale is a complete ghost town because everyones at the game. then after the Pirates win state, they parade into town late at night with everyone honking and going crazy. Then everyone congregates up at the highschool to ring the victory bell. There's definitely something to be said about small town livin'!
Here are some pics of us in our Pirate gear getting ready to go to a football game. The boys had already left for the game, so it's just the girls.

We did it! We finally sucked it up and took family pictures. It took all day for Kyle to get mentally prepared for this moment. He was less than thrilled about doing it. But I have to say, he was a trooper and I was proud of him. So here are some of my favorites....Sorry for the picture overload
